nostalgic recollections to record or distort memory, utilizing graphite as her primary medium to explore aesthetic dimensins as an artist
In my work, I explore the delicate intersection between
memory, decay, and the passage of time.
I aim to capture moments that exist in the liminal space between presence and absence,
where the echoes of life linger, even as they fade.
The series of images presented here, delve into the beauty of impermanence. The flowers,
once vibrant, now wilt and fade, yet they retain a certain grace and dignity in their decline.
The use of shadow and light in these works is intentional, symbolizing the interplay between
visibility and obscurity, the known and the forgotten.
The subtlety of the images invites the viewer to lean in, to engage with what might otherwise be overlooked, and to consider the
beauty that exists in the quiet, often unnoticed, aspects of life.
My art is a meditation on transience, a reminder that all things,
no matter how full of life,
will eventually transform.
But in that transformation,
there is a story.
